Form & Finish

Available now

Know what’s in your home.

Form & Finish helps people better understand furniture materials, construction, finishes and certifications, so they can make more informed choices for their home. It identifies the likely materials in a piece from a photograph, then explains what each one means for quality, durability, care and potential chemical considerations. Where the evidence is mixed it says so, and where a material is unremarkable it says that just as clearly.

Boyfriend’s Opinion

Available now

Get a second opinion, instantly.

Boyfriend’s Opinion gives a candid second opinion on an outfit. You photograph the look and name the occasion, and an automated reading comes back in seconds as a short written verdict: the reasoning behind it, the detail the eye goes to first, the single change that would most improve it, and whether to wear it. It assesses the clothes and how they suit the occasion — never the wearer's body or appearance — and it produces no score of any kind.
